Laube Technology (“Laube”, “we”) runs www.laube.com. This page says what information the site handles and what we do with it.

What the site collects

The site has no accounts. The quote form sends what you type and attach to our sales inbox by email; the website itself stores nothing. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read; Google Analytics sets cookies for up to 13 months. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland it runs only after you accept it in the banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer. When you open a page, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records what every web server records: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We use those records only to keep the site running and secure.

Quote requests and email you send us

When you send a quote request through the form or email us a question, we receive what you send: your name and email address, your company, your message, and any attachments, including drawings. We use it to answer you and to prepare the quote. Quotes and orders are kept as business records for as long as the law and our quality system require. Our email runs on Microsoft 365.

Drawings and specifications

Drawings you send are used only to quote and supply the parts and are not published.

AI assistant

The chat assistant in the corner of each page answers from the pages of this site. It runs on Cloudflare AI Search: what you type into it is sent to Cloudflare, which finds the relevant pages and writes the answer. Laube does not keep a copy of the conversation, and the assistant cannot send email, place orders or quote prices. Please do not type personal details into it; for a quote, use the form.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the suppliers and carriers who make and deliver your order, with Cloudflare and Microsoft as the providers that run the site and our email, with Resend as the service that delivers the quote form’s email, and when the law requires it.

Your choices

Email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it.

Children

The site is for businesses and is not aimed at children.

Changes

We post changes on this page with a new effective date.
